Fortbyte Locations

Most of Fortbyte's challenges do not need to be explained, but there are some secret places that can be hard to spot in the heat of the moment – here's where to go.

Found in Haunted Hills

The last place in Fortbyte is north-east of Haunted Hills!

Head to the L-shaped building in the north-east of the area and look around the corner to pick it up without any additional requirements.

Accessible using Rock Love Spray near a lavafall

First of all, before you can complete this one, you have to go to the locker and make sure the "Rock Love" spray is equipped. You get it to reach level 2 free of the Season 9 Battle Pass.

Once this is done, head for the lava flow flowing south from the pressurized plant.

At the bottom of the first drop, you will find the almost invisible location of Fortbyte. To get it back, just use the Rock Love spray, you do not need to spray in a special place.

Found between a restart truck, a pirate camp and a destroyed Battlebus

This Fortbyte location is northwest of Lazy Lagoon. From the pirate ship, jump in the water and head west into the jungle.

You will find the Fortbyte in the center of a clearing at the coordinates shown in the screenshot below:

Stroll over to claim your prize.

Back in the menu, you'll unlock the first box of the mysterious photo as a reward.
