Jared Leto pokes fun at Gucci’s ‘dirty sneakers’

Fashion plate Jared Leto poked fun at today’s top clothing trends at the Gucci Hub, the brand’s Milan HQ, during a panel at the first-ever Fast Company European Innovation Festival.

“I told [Gucci CEO Marco Bizzarri] I can wear orange pants and dirty sneakers” to the event because “I’m an artist,” he said at the talk.

Leto added: “If I told you one day we’re gonna sell dirty sneakers, you’d be like, ‘What the f–k are you talking about?’ This is the deal . . . We’re gonna make them dirty first and people are going to go crazy!”

VIP guests including Bjarke Ingels, Bizzarri, Darren Aronofsky and Ozwald Boateng joined Fast Company Editor-in-Chief Stephanie Mehta for a Milanese dinner at Alice Ristorante.
