Lisa Bloom responds to Blac Chyna's claims that she is trying to withdraw some of the gains she might gain from her lawsuit against the Kardashians.
Bloom, who no longer represents Chyna, has filed a lien against Chyna for failing to pay for the legal work she and her firm had done for her in her ongoing lawsuit against Rob Kardashian and her family, reported The Blast. In response to the lien filing, Chyna submitted legal documents stating that she and Bloom had never had a written agreement and asked the judge to deny Bloom any piece of the judgment she won against Rob Kardashian or his family.
She also claimed that The Bloom Firm's actions constituted "professional misconduct" and, because Bloom abandoned her as a client, waived her right to legal fees.
Bloom, however, told Page Six that his "perfect bar record" would indicate otherwise.
"I'm proud of my bar record after 33 years as a lawyer. We fought for Blac Chyna for almost two years, "she said. "Unfortunately, we had to withdraw for reasons that we can not disclose. We continue to believe in his case and wish him the best. "
Chyna sued Rob, Khloé Kardashian, Kris Jenner and Kylie Jenner for interfering with her and Rob's reality series, "Rob & Chyna," and causing producers and E! cancel the show, which would have caused him substantial damage.
Bloom also represented Chyna after Rob posted porn revenge after their separation.
