Prepare to see “Real Housewives of New York City” stars fist-pump.
Luann de Lesseps and “Jersey Shore” star DJ Pauly D are planning to release a remix of her recent hit, “Feelin’ Jovani,” Page Six can exclusively confirm.
“We’re still talking about it and working it out,” the Countess told us on Friday. “With DJs, I like to hear their own version of how they would remix the song. We’ll see what he comes up with.”
The pair met for the first time on “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen” Thursday night and discussed collaborating on a new version of the dance track with Andy Cohen during the live filming.
“Andy was like, ‘You two should collaborate on ‘Feelin’ Jovani,’ and Pauly D was like, ‘Yeah, I would love to do that,’ and so the collaboration was born,” she shared. “Pauly D is very successful in his own right and he wanted to remix the song, so it’s great.”
De Lesseps, 54, said she was “blown away” by Pauly D, 39, on the late-night talk show and called him a “really charming guy.”
“I’m definitely going to watch [‘Jersey Shore’],” she said. “I’m a fan because I met Pauly D. I really liked him. I didn’t know what to expect.”
While it’s still early on in their joint venture, next steps are for de Lesseps to send Pauly D her vocals and the musical track for him to remix.
However, the Countess is no novice to working with reality TV DJs. She pointed out that she’s worked with “Vanderpump Rules” star James Kennedy for her “Money Can’t Buy You Class” remix and always looks forward to how the DJs “put their spin” on the songs.
The “RHONY” star said she hopes the new version of “Feelin’ Jovani” will be released “sooner than later,” so that fans can enjoy it for the remainder of the summer. She said it will likely be released through Spotify and iTunes.
De Lesseps first put out “Feelin’ Jovani” in June, along with a music video starring fellow “Housewives” Cynthia Bailey and Lisa Rinna.
If the Countess were to re-shoot the video for the remix, she said, “We gotta have Snooki and JWoww. They could be the Lisa Rinna and Cynthia Bailey of the video.”
