Did you know that Daisy has a cruise ship? And also that it's full of holes? Nearly eight years after the release of the game, Mario Kart 7 the players found a new way to slip into the hull of the boat and finish the race in less than a minute. This is the shortest time of any track of all time. Mario Kart 7.

The Austrian speedrunner Thomas S. is one of the Mario Kart 7The most prolific runners, and over the past weekend, he led the first race of the game by less than a minute, completing Daisy Cruiser in just 54,877 seconds. The new world record was made possible by a small problem recently discovered which allows to spend the majority of each turn.

To trigger the glitch, one must snap into the inner railing near the start of the race to be able to pass through the ship in the lower deck. This allows the player to pass a large part of the race by simply going up on the upper deck and across the finish line, at which point he can start all over again.

This is not the easiest trick to succeed, as going through the virtual hole in the wall requires turning your kart almost perpendicular to the exact moment of impact. If successful, you will hit the water outside the ship for a fraction of a second, which will allow the game to record the rest of the turn as completed.

Previously, Speedrunners used a similar glitch to skip much of this track, but it was much longer on the course and saved much less time. The previous record for the cruise ship Daisy's Cruise was 1 "10" 198, which allowed Thomas to earn a good quarter of a minute. The course is also available in English. Mario Kart Double Dash where it originally debuted, but this iteration of the course presents no problems that Mario Kart 7 the players have come to count.

While speedrunners continue to show themselves, every game in this series has its own unique problems and tips. Mario Kart 7, which came out for the 3DS in 2011, may not be as good as the most recent game in the series, but it is clear that many secrets are waiting to be unveiled. And, who knows, maybe there are even more holes on Daisy's ship.
