Beth Chapman BFF Wynonna Judd can’t make her memorial Saturday in Colorado, but the country music superstar will be there in spirit.
Judd, who is currently on tour, has given organizers permission to make use of her music during the ceremony, including the number “Rescue Me” — a Chapman favorite — according to TMZ.
Chapman and Judd’s friendship goes back years, with the two long exchanging playful banter on Twitter.
“BETH CHAPMAN IS WONDER WOMAN!” said Judd in an all caps post from 2012.
“Don’t miss my friends Dog & Beth…. #CMTDogAndBeth on the hunt! TONIGHT on CMT” she said in another post a year later plugging “Dog The Bounty Hunter.”
Chapman became famous after starring in the hit reality show with her husband Duane “Dog” Chapman.
“I will always be grateful for our connection. #BethChapman,” Judd tweeted last month shortly after news broke of Chapman’s death from throat cancer.
Chapman’s memorial will be held at the Heritage Christian Center in Aurora, Colorado and will be open to the public. The Chapman family has been working closely with authorities in the Centennial State to help manage what is expected to be an epic turnout.
